Sometimes the writers over at The Verge put forward something really interesting that is totally worth sharing and you have to celebrate that strong independent journalism. This is one of those times. You know I love to give you homework assignments. This one is worth it. Take a moment and just ponder the broader implications that language alone is not intelligence and all the training and building of current LLMs may have missed the point. That is a powerful and interesting argument that challenges billions in spending.
